The Education committee provides volunteers to read with the children at Petty School on a weekly basis. Volunteers are asked for just one day a week for one month at a time.
The committee also awards scholarships to graduating seniors from Lakes and Antioch High Schools. We also provide funds for one or two students to attend Leadership Camps in the summer. In addition, we award the Lilly Petty Scholarship annually.

An excerpt taken from a thank you card written by our Vocational Education Scholarship winner: …I will be continuing my education as a Freshman at Milwaukee School of Engineering. I will be studying Architectural Engineering and I plan on working with green energy and different energy conservation techniques in my future career. I will also be playing basketball on their division three basketball team. My goal is to get my masters degree in five years and thanks to you, I am one step closer to that goal. By awarding me the Antioch Woman’s Club Vocational Education Scholarship, you have lightened my financial burden which allows me to focus more on the most important aspect of school, learning. Your generosity has inspired me to help others and give back to the community. I hope one day I will be able to help students achieve their goals just as you have helped me….Amy Reiser.
