Committees

Toni Leprich, Chair

We host the annual Student Art Show, which benefits art students from community high schools and middle schools. Juried winners receive prizes celebrating their achievements.

At general meetings, “Babe, the Blue Pig”, collects change for Pennies for Art.

We also organize an annual Arts and Crafts Show for members to display their talents.

Nancy Zitkus, Chair

We organize food, clothing, and personal item drives to benefit local pantries and provide holiday dinners for local families who are in need. Every year, members meet monthly to make numerous quilts which are given to local children in need. We also support our veterans and local care facilities.

We contribute to international nonprofits that are working to eradicate hunger and poverty worldwide. Donations are made to Operation Smile, The Heifer Project, and St. Jude’s Hospital.

Heather Menzer, Chair
Nancy Yukl, Co-chair

We collect bedding, towels, baby items, cleaning products, and unwrapped gifts for A Safe Place, a shelter for abused women and men. Clothing and household items are also donated to God’s Will Resale Shop on behalf of the shelter.

Julie Popp, Co-chair

We support education through annual scholarships awarded to graduating seniors at our local high school. The Antioch Woman’s Club founded the Antioch Library in 1922 and continues to support it today.

Karen Noland, Chair
Sally Rodgers, Co-chair

We organize member volunteers and their families for community highway cleanup twice a year, as well as spearheading recycling and repurposing efforts. These have included #6 Styrofoam, LED and CFL lightbulbs, ink toner cartridges, clothing, and other recyclable/reusable items.

Peggy Kellen, Chair
Karen Leverenz, Co-chair
Sandra Schreier, Co-chair

Our committee oversees projects such as 50/50 raffles at meetings, a summer bake sale, and our holiday luncheon with silent auction and raffle. The funds raised at the holiday luncheon support local scholarships, domestic violence shelters, our local food pantry, St. Jude’s Hospital, and other community projects.

Pat Frydrychowicz, Chair

In addition to advocating for physical wellness among our members, we also support emotional wellness through greeting cards. We send sympathy, get well, congratulations, and other cards for every season.

Jean Johnson, Chair

We are responsible for choosing the venue and menu for our three formal lunches: the Fall Luncheon in September, the Holiday Luncheon in December, and the Spring Luncheon in May. These are held at banquet halls or country clubs.

We also have a bridge club that meets weekly.
